Key Responsibilities and Duties: · Sensitivity and commitment to the goals of Affirmative Action and workforce diversity; · Experience working in a diverse environment; · Demonstrated commitment to working with under-served students; · Support the inclusion of students with disabilities; · Attend classes with students; · Support students in development of study skills and strategies; · Assist students in accessing college services and resources; · Encourage appropriate college behavior; · Foster student independence; including help with social skills and functional life skills; · Help students with time management, organization and other executive functioning skills; · Work as a member of a team, with the ability to communicate with faculty and staff; · Send weekly email updates to supervisors regarding student progress; · Maintain confidentiality regarding educational information and records; · Provide coverage of other Educational Coaches in the event of an absence; · Performs other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
