Job description
We are Rokt. We are the global leader in ecommerce, on a mission to make every transaction more relevant. We’ve built our business around the Transaction Moment™, the span from cart to confirmation where customer attention and intent peak, and where more than 90% of a business's ancillary revenue potential sits untapped. The Rokt Brain leverages advanced machine learning to determine the next best action for every customer in real time across the Rokt Network, powering 13 billion transactions a year for brands like: Live Nation, Fanatics, Macy's, AMC Theatres, PayPal, Uber, Hulu, Albertsons and more. Since 2012 we've grown from a Sydney startup, to a $3.5B company with 700+ Rokt'stars across eight offices and 15 markets, sustaining a Compound Annual Growth Rate of 40%+ for over a decade. At Rokt, we practice transparency in career paths and compensation, which is why we have a well-defined career ladder with clear compensation and career paths based on competency and ability. Target total compensation ranges from $252,000 - $360,000, including a fixed annual salary of $212,000 - $250,000, an employee equity plan grant, and world-class benefits. This is the expected range for the role. Final compensation is determined by the level assessed through the interview process and based on how your experience and skills map to our career ladder. Equity grants are issued in good faith, subject to company policies, board approval, and individual eligibility. Rokt Aftersell helps more than 50,000 Shopify merchants grow revenue across the full Transaction Moment, from the cart through checkout to the post-purchase and Thank You page. Aftersell owns the Aftersell and Upcart apps on the Shopify app store, and was acquired by Rokt in 2024. About the role: Rokt Aftersell is looking for a Director of Growth to open up our next sources of revenue. This is a senior individual contributor role reporting directly to the General Manager of Rokt Aftersell, working closely with our go-to-market leaders across marketing, partnerships and sales. This role serves as the product manager for new channels: testing our most promising new revenue channels, segments and products, building a zero-to-one platform to scale them, signing and onboarding the first three customers, then handing each channel to a BD lead or channel owner to scale. We are an AI-first company. We're a team of builders. That means the person who spots the problem is usually the person who fixes it, and "someone should build a tool for that" is treated as a volunteer sign-up sheet. We use AI and automation tools to move faster, and expect you to figure things out when the path isn’t obvious. If you prefer established processes and clearly defined lanes, you probably won’t like it here. How your future team uses AI: Growth at Rokt Aftersell runs on agentic tools: you will use agents to research markets, build partner and merchant lists, run outreach, launch test experiences and analyze results, so one person can run the experiments that used to need a team. We expect you to be at the forefront, trying new tools as they ship and building your own agents instead of waiting for headcount. AI handles the volume, and you bring the judgment on which bets to make and the relationships with the first customers in each channel. How you will contribute: Build and prioritize a portfolio of roughly a dozen new channels, segments and partnerships, such as technology partnerships, affiliate and referral programs, and browser extensions, each sized from first principles. Design fast, cheap experiments with success criteria agreed upfront, and make a go or no-go call on each channel in weeks, not quarters. Source, pitch, close and onboard the first one to three partners or merchants in each new channel yourself, prototyping the integration, offer or merchant experience with AI tools before working with product, engineering and design to scale it. Measure every channel in revenue (pipeline, activity and un
