Position Summary: HII: Mission Technologies is seeking is seeking a qualified, proactive, and customer-focused Software Engineer for The U.S. Army DEVCOM Ground Vehicle Systems Center (GVSC) in Warren, MI. We’re seeking a DevSecOps practitioner with strong experience enabling modern software delivery practices across development teams. The ideal candidate excels at designing and maintaining GitLab CI/CD pipelines, building and securing containerized applications, and guiding teams through tooling and process improvements. Essential Job Responsibilities Develop, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitLab for multiple software development teams. Build, manage, and secure containerized applications using industry-standard tools and containerization best practices. Lead and support migration efforts from Bitbucket to GitLab, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption. Apply strong knowledge of build servers and GitLab Runners to support reliable, scalable automation. Embed security best practices into development and deployment workflows. Train, mentor, and coach team members on DevSecOps tools, principles, and processes. Minimum Qualifications 2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 0 years experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience.
