Responsibilities What to expect: Conduct requirements analysis for new features, enhancements, and supportability improvements. Produce and maintain solution papers, design documents, and technical specifications. Participate in design discussions and conduct design/code walkthrough meetings. Develop, maintain, and support Java-based backend services and application components. Implement and maintain integrations with Oracle database systems, including SQL and PL/SQL components. Contribute to cryptographic and security-related functionality and enhancements. Investigate production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. Contribute to new feature development as well as maintenance and enhancement of existing software systems. Maintain adherence to Swift's security guidelines and coding standards. Adhere to Swift's reference architecture and design principles. Follow Swift's development and release methodologies (CM/CI/CD). Perform performance analysis, identify reliability and performance issues, and implement improvements. Qualifications Education and Experience: University degree in Computer Science or a related field. 4+ years of experience in software development and maintenance of enterprise applications. Required Technical Skills Proven hands-on development experience with Java and object-oriented design principles. Experience developing and maintaining backend services and enterprise applications. Strong knowledge of Oracle databases, including SQL and PL/SQL development. Experience with application integration patterns, REST APIs, and web services. Familiarity with cryptographic and security-related technologies and concepts. Experience troubleshooting complex production issues and performing root cause analysis.
