About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Data Management Manager In this role, you will: Make decisions and resolve issues regarding operational execution for data governance, data quality or metadata Recommend strategies to prioritize and remediate data quality issues that align with business needs or regulatory compliance initiatives Identify and recommend opportunities for the development of audits and controls structured around business processes and data quality target state and metadata standards Manage and develop team of individual contributor roles with low to moderate complexity focused on defining data quality requirements and delivering on data integrity initiatives Manage operational execution of activities related to all stages of the remediation lifecycle Direct team in developing solutions, tools and processes used to maintain a common companywide data quality, control standards and data sourcing Collaborate with and consult with peers, colleagues, and multiple level managers to ensure consistent approach and direction on companywide remediation efforts Serve as single point of contact for escalations on low to moderate complexity issues Manage allocation of people and financial resources Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent Required Qualifications: 5+ years of Data Management, Business Research, Analytics, or Project Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education 2+ years of Leadership experience Required Qualifications for Europe, Middle East & Africa only: Experience in Data Management, Business Research, Analytics, Project Management, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, education Leadership experience Desired Qualifications: Demonstrated experience with BI visualization and data tools including PowerBI, Tableau, ThoughtSpot, Starburst and Alteryx. Advanced analytics and business insights capabilities, with demonstrated success in delivering scalable and intuitive analytics solutions in large enterprise Strong understanding of financial services operating environments and risk frameworks Hands-on experience operating and optimizing data management routines within cloud environments, including Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Proven ability to identify and implement process optimization and automation opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability and data quality. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders across all levels, driving alignment and delivering measurable business outcomes Job Expectations: Lead and develop a high-performing team of managers and individual contributors spanning Data Management, Business Intelligence and Analytics to drive commercial value for CAO and the Wells Fargo lines of business. Develop and execute a strategic data roadmap to standardize and operationalize data management and data product integrity practices across all CAO data products. Drive the design of scalable enterprise-wide visualization solutions that generate actionable insights for Wells Fargo’s Business Groups & Enterprise Functions based on CAO data. Lead complex, cross-functional data and analytics initiatives, ensuring the delivery of intuitive, user-centric dashboards & visualizations that enable decision-making at all levels. Ensure adherence to enterprise data management policies and procedures Influence and partner with senior stakeholders, providing strategic consultation and translating data into actionable insights and business outcomes.
