Job Description The team is looking to hire a NY based Managing Director or Principal to focus on the credit secondaries strategy. Strategic Partners provides the opportunity to join one of the most active and long-tenured investment teams in the secondaries industry. The hire will be responsible for sourcing, analyzing and executing investments in credit portfolios and funds across all private credit asset classes. The hire will work on secondary LP portfolio transactions, GP-led continuation funds and other structured deals. Additionally, the Managing Director or Principal will fundraise and meet with current and prospective investors. The role offers a compelling opportunity to help build and develop the growing credit vertical within Strategic Partners, providing meaningful exposure to the evolution of the platform and broader business-building initiatives. Responsibilities: Overseeing a team, managing all aspects of the deal process, due diligence and closing Negotiating and structuring transactions effectively within tight time constraints Prepare internal memoranda and other materials to support investment recommendations Monitor investments to communicate strategy and performance with existing and prospective investors Qualifications Blackstone seeks to hire individuals who work well in a team-driven working group, are highly motivated, intelligent, have sound judgment and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors. In addition to strong analytical and quantitative skills, the successful candidate should have strong communication skills, demonstrated excellence in written communication and a desire to work both independently and collaboratively in a lean and growing team. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of private credit experience.
