Job Description Key Responsibilities · Develop and execute integrated communications and patient advocacy strategies aligned with business priorities. · Build trusted relationships with patient organizations, healthcare stakeholders, and external partners. · Lead corporate, brand, digital, and executive communications initiatives across key audiences. · Amplify patient perspectives to shape organizational priorities and healthcare engagement efforts. · Provide strategic counsel to senior leaders on communications, reputation, and stakeholder management. · Identify opportunities to strengthen Novartis' reputation and visibility in the external environment. · Lead and develop high-performing teams while fostering collaboration across functions and markets. Essential Requirements · Significant experience leading communications, public affairs, patient advocacy, or related functions. · Proven ability to develop and deliver strategic engagement plans with measurable impact. · Strong stakeholder management skills across patient groups, healthcare organizations, and leadership teams. · Experience advising senior leaders on reputation, communications, and complex business challenges. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence diverse audiences. · Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams and driving collaboration across matrix organizations. · Candidates must be fluent in both English and Portuguese, with the ability to communicate effectively in a business environment. · AI fluency in day-to-day execution and efficiency, as well as understanding of AI impact on external landscape Why Novartis: Our purpose is to reimagine medicine to improve and extend people’s lives and our vision is to become the most valued and trusted medicines company in the world.
