This position also coordinates administrative and operational tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of team workflows and contributing to an efficient client service process. This role may also have opportunities to serve as second-chair Relationship Manager for larger, more complex relationships, providing valuable support to the lead Relationship Manager. Manage CAs, PCAs, and AAs, and support business metrics for the relationship, including existing fee schedules, profitability of relationships, and relationship time management. Be proactive regarding client retention and the overall business development effort. Spend most of the time managing current accounts and overseeing the onboarding of client relationships. Investment Execution: Independently own accounts and, in conjunction with more senior RMs (as applicable) and the central account team, make all investment decisions. Oversee Relationship Associates as they troubleshoot client account issues such as portfolio reporting/activity, client reference data, client data requests, and non-receipt of mailings for their clients’ accounts. Create client meeting materials and independently present portfolio reviews at client meetings; may prepare but not present materials for larger/more complex clients. Rebalance and repaper portfolios in preparation for account reviews, including reviewing asset allocation to ensure guidelines for investing have not changed and have been properly documented using DI in CRM. Serve as the primary interface on behalf of clients with central management teams within BBH. Risk Management & Administration: Exercise sound, professional investment judgment on behalf of clients while avoiding risks to the firm and demonstrate 100% adherence to the compliance requirements of the business, including Investment Policy Statements, Know Your Customer requirements, and completing documentation and written records of meetings and discussions. As the primary day-to-day contact point with clients, elevate high-level risk issues to the senior RM, CAO, and/or TL. Ensure total compliance at the account level and oversee and respond to all compliance reports (e.g., overdraft reports, approved trades, delinquent documentation, IPSs).
