Job description

The Opportunity:  This position is responsible for ensuring successful launch readiness of new toy programs by driving capacity and capability planning, supply & demand match and alignment, and cross-functional coordination between vendors and functional teams. This role serves as the primary interface between Product Development, Engineering, Procurement, and Manufacturing Partners to ensure new product introductions are delivered on time, within cost targets, and with adequate manufacturing capability and capacity. What Your Impact Will Be:  Position Responsibilities:   Lead capacity and capability planning for new toy introductions across global vendor partners to ensure business and production readiness requirements are met. Identify potential bottlenecks and drive mitigation plans through regular reviews with Manufacturing Partners and internal stakeholders.  Partner with Product Development, Engineering, Sourcing, and suppliers to identify cost drivers and drive cost optimization initiatives Partner with Supply Chain Planning and Sourcing teams to ensure manufacturing capacity, material, component, and production availability align with forecasted demand and support production plans. Identify supply risks, monitor ramp-up performance and capacity utilization, and develop contingency plans to support product introductions.  Serve as the communication bridge between external manufacturing partners and internal development teams Coordinate cross-functional discussions and communicate program status, risks and mitigation plans to stakeholders Facilitate issue resolution related to manufacturing feasibility, cost, tooling, capacity, quality, and schedule. Support new toy program-related initiatives and perform other duties as assigned by the manager to meet business needs.  What We’re Looking For:  Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Merchandising, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline. Minimum 7 years of experience in manufacturing, consumer products, product industrialization, supply chain planning, or manufacturing engineering; toy industry experience is an advantage. Experience managing new product introduction (NPI) programs from concept through production launch is preferred. Strong understanding of end-to-end manufacturing processes and global supply chains. Must have experience managing a small team. Detail-oriented, independent, well organized with a proactive attitude Excellent analytical, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. A good team player with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
