Job Posting: Part-Time Paraprofessional – Aitkin Children's Center Location: Aitkin Public Schools (ISD #1) The Aitkin Children's Center is seeking a part-time Paraprofessional to support our morning preschool class. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working with young children in a warm, collaborative early childhood setting. Position Details Start Date: August 31st, 2026 Schedule: Mornings Duration: Position runs through May 2026 Responsibilities: Assist the classroom teacher with instruction, activities, and daily routines Provide individual and small-group support to students Help maintain a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment Support arrival, lunch, recess, and dismissal routines Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (required) Two-year degree and/or successful completion of the ParaPro Assessment (preferred/required per district guidelines) Experience working with preschool or early childhood students preferred Strong communication, teamwork, and flexibility Benefits Supportive school community and early childhood team Opportunity to positively impact the growth and development of young learners Application Process Interested candidates should apply online through the Aitkin Public Schools Employment Opportunities page or submit a district application to the Aitkin Public Schools District Office.
