Job Title: Adult Education Teacher - General Education Diploma or English Language Learner Location: Craig Academy, MSD Lawrence Township Work Schedule: Part-time, evening only 5:30 - 9:00 Calendar Length: School Year FLSA Classification: Non-exempt, hourly employee Hourly Rate: $33.00 Benefits: Dependent on hours worked ____________________________________________________________________________ Job Description: The Adult Education Teacher reports directly to the Program Director. The employee will support classroom and program operations. ____________________________________________________________________________ Essential Duties: Plan, prepare, and execute engaging lessons aligned with student needs and standards (either high school equivalency or ELL depending on class). Manage classroom culture and foster a respectful, inclusive learning environment. Perform accurate and timely daily recordkeeping and attendance. (INTERs) Manage student information, both digital and hard copy. Communicate and collaborate with fellow teachers, aides, office staff, and district/site personnel. Attend all required and recommended professional development sessions and meetings. Provide one-on-one or small group academic support to students as needed.
