Job description

Main Duties & Responsibilities Ensure employees follow all safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment. Lead, coach, and support assembly employees to meet daily production goals, quality standards, and efficiency expectations. Oversee daily operations within the assigned department(s), which may include responsibility for multiple departments depending on staffing and production needs. Monitor production schedules, employee assignments, workflow, and staffing to ensure production targets are met. Ensure products are assembled correctly and meet established quality standards. Identify and resolve production issues, troubleshoot equipment or process concerns, and escalate maintenance needs when necessary. Monitor product quality, minimize scrap and waste, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Communicate production updates, concerns, and shift handoff information to supervisors and other departments. Train employees on standard work procedures, safety requirements, and quality expectations. Support employee accountability, attendance, performance, and adherence to company policies. Assist with cross-training employees and adjusting staffing to meet changing production demands. Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and other production teams to resolve issues and maintain efficient operations. Complete required production reports, documentation, and other assigned administrative tasks.
