Business Context Our Investment Banking team is a leading global franchise with over 500 professionals in North America, Europe and Asia. We provide our corporate and institutional clients with capital markets and financial advisory services and integrated solutions. We’re looking for talented individuals to join our London Investment Banking team in the following sector teams: Global Energy, Power and Utilities : Coverage of the leading global and European energy, power and utility companies and financial investors across multiple subsectors such as oil & gas, power, new energies, and regulated and non-regulated infrastructure Position Overview As an Investment Banking Analyst, you will work under the direction of a senior officer and with other experienced investment banking professionals, helping to generate ideas, advise clients and execute transactions. The graduate program will begin with one month of formal training in NYC for all TD Corporate and Investment Banking graduate analysts globally and includes orientation and interactive technical training. This training is designed to teach you the building blocks of financial institutions, Excel, and PowerPoint, which will prepare you to begin your full-time role in investment banking. How you will contribute: Research and analyze clients’ financial situations, industry and market data Develop operating and valuation models of private and public companies as well as merged entities Apply valuation tools to assess opportunities Prepare external client presentations, proposals and internal memos Aid senior team members with idea generation and in all phases of M&A transaction execution Work proactively across multiple product groups and geographies To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following: Graduation year of 2027 (Graduation year of 2026 may also be considered) 2:1 or above degree (or equivalent) qualification Previous work experience in corporate finance or investment banking Demonstrated experience in relevant financial modelling and valuation work Genuine interest in Investment Banking and in the Global Energy, Power and Utilities sector Strong numerical and analytical skills, and attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver accurate results under time pr
